Greetings, ODTA community!
Help us crowdsource ideas for "smarter solutions" for Rwanda! "80% of Rwandans live in rural areas. How can advances in ICT connectivity and mobile access be leveraged to improve the lives of rural inhabitants in key areas such as education, health, agriculture, and business services?" The above problem statement was identified by Jean-Philbert Nsengimana, Minister of Youth and ICT of Rwanda in consultation with the World Bank team. Together, we are crowd-sourcing ideas from all over the world to develop sustainable and smart solutions for rural Rwanda. The ideas you share with us will be presented to the Minister at a high-level discussion in Washington DC between the World Bank, client countries, and external practitioners on February 28th on Co-Creating a Smarter Future. The recent ODTA survey indicated high interest of this community in co-creating knowledge around cutting-edge ICT-enabled development strategies.
